APEC’s priority is to protect and support our visitors, staff, and volunteers, and we have been taking several proactive precautionary measures, including implementing rigorous cleaning routines, and staying in close communication with New York City health officials. Effective Monday, June 13th, 2022, masks are recommended, but no longer required, for visitors of all ages. While we don't have any confirmed cases connected to APEC, we believe that we must do all that we can to ensure a safe and healthy environment for our community.
To ensure the continued health and safety for our guests, APEC will continue to disinfect and clean all classrooms, bathrooms, and high touch surfaces. APEC will also continue to improve air quality in all classrooms by utilizing air purifiers.
As we have for the past two years, we will continue to watch the evolution of this ever- changing pandemic and will be prepared to pivot as necessary. For now, and in the future, we look forward to the opportunity to spend more time together.
*Please note: Exceptions may apply for certain programs, as needed.
APEC’s Staff is continuing to make sure our Ambassador Animals are being well taken care of. You can help – please consider a donation to APEC at this time to help us care for our ambassador animals as many of our programs have been cancelled and therefore there is little income coming in.
Please check out our Facebook, Instagram, & Twitter pages for videos, fun facts and crafts to help keep your children occupied during these difficult times. You can also use the link below to view our children's videos and activities.
Stay safe, everyone!
