Did you know that ragweed is delicious? Have you smelled fresh spicebush? On a midsummer evening's stroll, come and meet your botanical neighbors growing in Alley Pond Park. Marie's approach of conservation foraging focuses on collecting invasive plants, as well as learning more about the native Northeastern foods that we could be using every day in our kitchens and growing in our community gardens. The walk will end with a shared, wild-inspired snack of deviled eggs and focaccia featuring all-organic, seasonal ingredients. You can find Marie on Instagram @66squarefeet.
